The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with the most luxurious beds I've ever slept in. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. The food and drinks were enjoyable, although a bit pricey. The hotel offered stunning views of the surrounding countryside, perfect for a peaceful getaway.
The spa treatments were fully booked and it would have been helpful to know this in advance. The breakfast service was a bit slow, with some guests waiting for a long time to be served.

The whole hotel is brilliant!!!!!! The history of the building, the tasteful decorations of the rooms, the added luxury touches, excellent fine dining and surrounded by wide open countryside. A perfectly wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of life!
It is not near to where I live so that I could use the health spa and restaurant more often.

We came to a wedding and thought it was the perfect setting for such an occasion. Our room in the Hall was beautiful and probably the most comfortable hotel bed we have ever slept in !! Absolutely fantastic scenery and surrounding countryside outstanding - would love to visit again and explore.

Old world courtesy and charm. Excellent Christmas decorations. Spectacular Grand Hall Efficiency of Reservation staff in meeting my requests, particularly altering the dining numbers at a late stage and providing a round table.
Food in the restaurant overpriced Selection of cooked food at breakfast very poor.(No offer of poached or fried eggs or fish) Sevice of breakfast staff poor (Would prefer a pot of coffee/tea rather than staff circulating very infrequently with flasks of Coffee/Tea where the item served was cold and of inferior quality)
